For Swiss spaces, Cobot automatically attaches a QR code to all invoices. This QR code is legally required in Switzerland and enables members to complete a bank transfer simply by scanning the code in their banking app.
This solution is related to e-invoicing, but it is not fully electronic invoicing. The invoice is still issued as a PDF, and the QR code facilitates standardized payment processing.
How the Swiss QR Code Works
The QR code follows the Swiss QR bill standard. It simplifies payments and ensures compliance with Swiss payment regulations.
Each invoice includes a payment section with a Swiss QR code. The code contains:
Your space’s IBAN
The recipient’s full billing details
The invoice amount in CHF
The payment reference
The creditor’s details
When a member scans the QR code using their Swiss banking app, the payment details are automatically populated. The member only needs to confirm the transfer.
Requirements for the Swiss QR Bill to Appear
Cobot adds the Swiss QR code automatically when the following required conditions are met.
1. Your Space Country in Cobot Is Switzerland
You space must be set up with the country code 'CH' under Setup » Basic » Basic Settings.
2. Your Invoice Currency Is CHF
The invoice must be issued in Swiss francs under. If you are using another currency, the QR code is not generated.
3. IBAN Is Entered in Invoice Settings
You must have a valid Swiss IBAN in your invoice settings under Setup » Invoice Settings. Without an IBAN, Cobot cannot generate the QR payment section.
4. Invoice Recipient Address Is Complete
Your member’s billing details must include all of the following details in their member profile under Manage » Members.
Name or company name
Street address
Postal code
City
Country
5. Address Is Populated
Your space's address must be entered in Cobot under Setup » Invoice Settings.

If your space is based in Switzerland and invoices in CHF, Cobot ensures that invoices comply with Swiss QR bill standards as long as all required information is configured correctly.
This allows:
