Sell weekly desks or longer bookings for your conference rooms and event venues directly on your homepage. No sign-up or membership required.

Weekly desks or longer conference room bookings are perfect for team retreats, out-of-town workers on a project, or anyone needing more than a day, but less than a month-long or recurring subscription.

How to Set Up Weekly Resources

Step 1: Create a Resource and Publish for External Bookings

Go to Products » Resources » Add resource.

  1. Choose the resource type (e.g. "Desk")

  2. Set resource to "bookable"

  3. Select "publish resource"

💡 Publishing the resource for external bookings ensures that visitors can book their weekly desk or meeting room directly on your homepage – without registration or recurring membership fee.

4. Add a name: Choose a clear, descriptive name so visitors know exactly what they're booking, for example "Desk for a week"

5. Add a description: Describe what's included in the price.

Step 2: Set a Fixed Price for 168h

In the resource settings, choose "Fixed rate" under Pricing and set it to 168 hours (one full week) for your chosen rate, e.g. USD 250.

This is the key setting that turns your resource into a week-long booking rather than an hourly one. The price will be shown in weeks rather than days for your customers.

💡 Pro Tip: You can also offer two-week-long bookings by changing the booking duration from 168h to 336h

Step 3: Make Sure There Are No Availability Restrictions

Here is what to watch out for: Leave "Available booking times" empty. This setting defines the hours during which a resource can be booked each day.

⚠️ Important Note: If you add restrictions under Available booking times (e.g. 8am - 6m), your customers won't be able to book the full 7 days at once.

Step 4: Create a Resource Tag

Add a resource tag – for example "week-long" – to help visitors and team members quickly identify which resources are bookable by the week.

You can reuse this tag for any other weekly resources you add later.

How Visitors Make a Week-Long Booking

Once you've saved the public resource, visitors can find it on your public homepage or via the public URL embedded on external pages.

They can filter for week-long bookings, choose their start and end date in the calendar, and complete the booking in just a few steps.

Here's how :

  1. Visitors select the preferred week in the calendar (e.g., July 1 – July 7, 2026).

  2. They add their invoice address.

  3. They choose a payment method.

  4. They finish their booking and pay.

💡 Pro Tip: Add Products & Services that visitors can add to their weekly booking – such as a private locker, a dedicated parking spot or an extra key. Learn more.

Cobot automatically generates the invoice for your visitor's booking, blocks the desk or room in your booking calendar and adds the visitor as a contact. More on External Bookings.
