Let people register for your membership plans directly through your Homepage or plan-specific signup forms. This guide covers how they work—and how to embed them into your website.

PRO TIP

Set up your products first—they’re what visitors see on your Homepage.

Homepage Customization

The URL for this page is determined by the information you provided in the 'subdomain' field when you registered for your Cobot account. For example, if you entered your-space, your page will be available at your-space.cobot.me.

If you have added a Custom Domain, then the URL will mirror that instead of the name you signed up with.

The first step is to customize your Homepage to fit your branding. Go to Customize » Member Portal & Homepage » Homepage.

This image shows the customization interface for a workspace’s public homepage. In the left menu, “Member Portal & Homepage” is selected. On the right, the “Homepage” tab is highlighted, indicating that the user is viewing settings specific to the public-facing homepage. The logo is visible as part of the customizable content.

In this section, you can:

  • Upload your logo

    • 512×512 px as a .jpg,.jpeg,.png,.gif,.webp,.heic,.avif

  • Upload your favicon

    • 180x180 px as a .jpg,.jpeg,.png,.gif,.webp,.heic,.avif

  • Change the brand color

    • Click on the color code to change your color. Use the color picker to:

      • Adjust hue, saturation, and brightness

      • Input your colour as a hex code (e.g., #FF5733) or RGB or HSL Values.

    • Customizing colors can affect the accessibility of your member portal. Please select text and background colors that have a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 (in accordance with WCAG 2.1 AA Guidelines). Accessibility Statement

  • Upload a banner

    • 1920×360 px as a .jpg,.jpeg,.png,.gif,.webp,.heic,.avif

  • Add Intro text

    • You can use markdown for formatting.

  • Choose your product layout (Membership Plans, Drop-in Passes, External Bookings)

Click "Publish Changes" after making edits.

You will see a preview of your edits from this page, or you can see your live edits by clicking on 'Homepage' in the top right corner.

This image shows the "Homepage" tab selected in the Member Portal & Homepage section of a workspace settings panel. In the upper right corner, there is a "Homepage" link to preview the live site, and a blue "Publish Changes" button is visible next to a label indicating unsaved changes.

Public Visibility

Not all of your products are automatically visible on your public facing Homepage. Let's start with how to show your Membership Plans and Drop-in Passes.

This image shows a coworking space's public homepage interface. The "memberships & passes" menu item in the top navigation bar is highlighted. The page features a large header with the workspace name, a background photo of people working together, and a welcome message inviting visitors to explore membership plans.

Membership Plans

In Cobot, you control which membership plans are publicly visible on your Homepage. To make a plan visible, adjust the Visibility setting under Products » Membership Plans » Edit Plan » Basic Settings. Only plans marked as public will appear for visitors to view and sign up.

Drop-in Passes

Show your Drop-in Passes in the same way. Navigate to Products » Drop-in Passes » Edit Pass. Toggle the visibility setting and save your pass.

Rooms & Resources

This image shows the “Rooms & Resources” page of a coworking space's website. The “rooms & resources” tab in the top navigation bar is highlighted. Below, a booking section allows users to select a date, time, and desired capacity to check availability for workspace resources.

This section is present if you have Cobot's premium External Bookings feature activated. It allows you to advertise your Resources as bookable objects for non-members. A great way to boost revenue in your space!

Events

This image displays the "Events" page of the Your Space coworking website. The "Events" tab is highlighted in the top navigation menu, indicating the active section. Below, a banner labeled "Events" is shown, with event preview images partially visible beneath it.

This section shows all of your public events so you can sell tickets to non-members. Another great way to boost revenue in your space!

Within each event you create, there is a toggle that allows you to post it to this page.

This image shows a toggle switch labeled "Public Page" in the active (on) position. The accompanying text explains that enabling this setting makes the event visible on the homepage, allowing visitors to register and buy tickets.

Plan Specific Signup Forms

If you’d rather skip the Homepage and direct people straight to specific plans, you can embed individual plan signup forms directly on your website. The form displays the plan details you’ve set in the plan settings.

This is a great option if you want a seamless, branded signup flow directly from your site.

The plan is priced at 1,260 USD per month, renews automatically, and includes terms such as a 30-day cancellation notice, a deposit of 1,070 USD, and a minimum commitment of 3 months. Additional extras like an extra office key and locker are available for 26.25 USD per month each. The right side features a form for account and personal details, requiring fields like email, password, full name, company, and street address. A 'Log In' button is visible at the top right.

Customizing the Signup Form

By default, Cobot collects the following information from new members:

  • Email

  • Password (visible only to them)

  • Company Name

  • Name

  • Address

To add more fields or make them required, go to Customize » Features » Signup. For example, you can enable options like 'Show phone on member signup.'

You can also adjust other parts of the member journey under Customize » Features. In the Payment section, you can require members to add a payment method at signup or pay for time passes immediately.

Looking for more options? Check out the full list of Feature Switches here. If you don’t see what you need, just contact us—we’re happy to enable additional features for you.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • Custom fields can’t be added directly to the Signup Form. If you need to gather additional information, use Member Questions. These appear in a separate form after the initial registration is complete.

You can then manually enter the responses into the member’s Custom Fields in their profile.

Embedding Your Pages on Your Website

Check out this guide for details on how to embed your Homepage on your website.

Member Log-in Page

You can also embed a log-in page for existing members by adding /login to your Cobot URL.

For example, if your web address is https://your-space.cobot.me, make it https://your-space.cobot.me/login.
