When you sign up for your Cobot account, you'll automatically receive a login page, as well as your admin portal, member portal, and homepage.

Your login page is how your members and admins access their respective Cobot portals.

Finding the Login Page

Your Cobot login page is easily found in a few different ways:

1. By clicking on the "Log in" button on your Homepage. Your homepage is the URL you receive when you first sign up for a Cobot account.

This screenshot shows the top part of a space's homepage. The URL is highlighted in red. on the right side you can choose between the following (from left to right): Memberships & Passes, Rooms & Resources, Events and Log In, which is also highlighted in red.

2. By entering your cobot domain in the URL bar followed by /login.

For example: yourspace.cobot.me/login

This screenshot shows a spaces log-in page. The URL on top of the screenshot is highlighted in red. in the middle is the option to enter an Email and a Password.

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Members can only access the member portal tied to their membership.

    • It is not possible for members to have multiple logins under one email address.

  • Admins will only be able to log in to their admin portal. If you want to have both member and admin portal access (to see how members interact for example), then you need to follow this guide.

Two-Factor Authentication (2fa) Using Passkeys

To improve account security, you and your members can add an additional authentication step when logging in to Cobot by setting up passkeys.

  • To enable 2fa, go to your Cobot account page » Edit » Manage Passkeys.

  • First, register a passkey by clicking on Register Passkey.

  • Follow the instructions.

The process is slightly different for each browser and operating system:

  • If your device supports it, you will be asked to scan your face or fingerprint - the passkey is generated automatically after that.

  • Note: There might be an option to scan a QR code using your phone - you only need this when working from a shared computer.

After the passkey is registered, you will see an option to enable two-factor authentication. Click on the button and confirm with your password and passkey.

From now on, every time you log in, you are asked to provide a passkey, in addition to entering your normal password. This will prevent anyone who managed to get hold of your password from accessing your account, because they won't have the passkey.

You can always remove/manage the Passkey in your settings.

Incorporating Your Login Page Into Your Website

Cobot is not a website builder, but you can easily link your login page into your existing website. While all website builders (such as Squarespace, Wordpress, etc.) are different, the basic concept of adding links is typically the same:

  • Select the text or image you want to turn into a hyperlink.

  • Look for the link or hyperlink option in the toolbar, usually represented by a chain link icon.

  • Click on it, and a pop-up window or sidebar will appear, prompting you to enter the URL of the outside website, in this case, enter in your login page URL.
    For example: yourspace.cobot.me/login

  • The selected text or image will now direct visitors to Cobot when clicked.

PRO TIPS

  • Add one hyperlink as your login page and name it something like "MEMBER LOGIN" so your members know exactly where to go to access their member portal.

  • Check out member resources you can forward to contacts, leads and existing members here. These will give your members the tools to log in to your space, navigate their member portal and more!

Next Step: Customize Cobot to match the look and feel of your website.
