Canceling a membership in Cobot revokes a member's access to their portal, along with your coworking space's resources and services.
To reinstate a canceled member, you have a few options:
Option 1: Reactivate the Member's Account With Their Existing Plan Details
Navigate to Manage » Members » Canceled Members and click on the member's name to access their member profile.
Click the drop-down menu next to 'Membership' and select 'Undo Cancelation'.
Your member can now access their member portal with their previous login details.
Option 2: Reactivate the Member's Account With New Plan or Customizations to Plan
Navigate to Manage » Members » Canceled Members and click on the member's name to access their member profile.
Click the drop-down menu next to 'Plan' and select 'Customize Plan' or 'Change Plan' to adjust their membership details, such as fees and renewal dates.
Once satisfied with the changes, go to Membership » Undo Cancellation to reactivate their account.
Option 3: Have the Member Sign Up for a New Plan
Do NOT undo the cancelation on their existing membership. Instead, send the member a link to the desired plan, which can be found under Products » Membership Plans.
The member follows the link and enters their existing Cobot credentials under 'Account Details'.
3. They can then register for the new plan and choose their activation date.
IMPORTANT NOTES
If a member restarts their plan mid-billing cycle, any prorated fees are not automatically accounted for. You'll need to create a free-form invoice for the fee or add a one-time charge to their account.
If you are tracking Revenue By Plan in Cobot, these one-time charges will not be added to those sums on your Analyze » Revenue page.
The member's next, automatic invoice - not counting any prorated fees - will go out the day after they are reactivated. If you have a Default Invoice day setup under Setup » Invoice Settings - the invoice will go out on this day instead.
For example, if you have 'day 1' like below, their next invoice will go out on this numerical day:
