How to set up your VAT Rates in Cobot
In your Cobot account, you can set up your taxes under Setup » Basic » Payments » Default Tax.
Default Tax
If you add a Default Tax, it will automatically be applied for all products and services you set up in Cobot.
Individual Tax Rates
In addition to your Default Tax, you can also add individual Tax Rates, which will be applicable to certain products and services.
In order to set this up, you need to enable individual tax rates under Setup » Basic » Payments » Enable individual tax rates.
Once you have enabled individual tax rates, there will be a new Tax Rate field next to each product you set up in Cobot.
Example:
Your Membership Plans should have 20% Tax Rate.
Under Products » Membership Plans » Basic Settings » Pricing, you will now see an editable Tax Rate field.
The Default Tax Rate will already be pre-filled, but you can always change it and add any value.
If you offer food or sanitary products in your space, you can add a different Tax Rate for them.
⚠️ Any changes to Tax Rates, whether edited or removed, will only apply to actions taken after the change is made.
For example, if you remove a Tax Rate from a resource, all bookings made prior to that change will still have the previous Tax Rate applied. Only new bookings made after the change will have no taxes applied.
