Member Guide: Opening Doors with Dormakaba

This guide will show you how to access doors in your space.

Dormakaba is an automatic access control system that lets you open all doors included in your membership or your booking – quickly and easily via an app!


1. Sign Up to a Membership Plan in Your Space

To get started, you’ll need to sign up for a membership plan with your coworking space. This lets the app recognize you as a member and provide access based on your plan.

💡 Make sure to add your correct phone number on the sign-up form!


2. Download the App

Once an admin of your coworking space approves your membership, you will receive an SMS with instructions to download the Dormakaba Exivo app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

After downloading the app, you will be asked to register your phone number and enter a verification code sent by text message.

You will then receive a short intro about the app.


3. View Your Locks and Open Doors

Afterward, the app will show all doors you can access with your membership plan. To open a door, just hold your phone near the lock.

💡 When you book a resource through your Cobot Member Portal or the Cobot Members App, you’ll automatically receive access to that room via Dormakaba for the length of your booking.
