Connect Claude, ChatGPT or another AI assistant to your Cobot account and handle everyday admin tasks in plain language. Book meeting rooms, check who’s in today or turn revenue into charts.
What You Need
Admin access to a Cobot account (trial or paid subscription)
Claude, ChatGPT or another AI assistant that supports remote MCP servers
There’s nothing to install in Cobot.
Connect Cobot to Claude or ChatGPT
In Cobot, go to Add-ons and choose Claude or ChatGPT.
Click Connect to Claude or Connect to ChatGPT.
Log in to Cobot in the window that opens.
Review the access your assistant is requesting.
Decide whether to keep personal data pseudonymized. This option is on by default. Turn it off only if your assistant needs to work with names and contact details.
Approve the request.
Your assistant is now connected. Try a first request in Claude or ChatGpT, like “Which desks are free this afternoon?”
Manage Permissions and Approval Settings
You can change approval settings or disconnect Cobot from the Connectors page in Claude or the Plugin settings in ChatGPT. For each tool, choose whether your assistant can use it right away or must ask you first.
💡 Pro Tip: Keep approval on for tools that create or change bookings. You’ll get a quick confirmation step before anything changes in Cobot.
Connect Other AI Assistants
Any assistant that supports remote MCP servers can connect to Cobot. The exact steps vary, but the flow is the same:
Open the settings area where you add connectors or MCP servers.
Paste in the Cobot server address:
https://api.cobot.me/mcpLog in to Cobot in the window that opens.
Review the access requested.
Approve the request.
Use Cobot on Your Phone, Laptop or in the Browser
Cobot works wherever you use your assistant: in the browser, the desktop app or the mobile app. Connect once, and Cobot is available on every device where you’re logged in to the same assistant account.
Talk to Your Assistant Instead of Typing
On your phone, switch to your assistant’s voice mode and say what you need. It’s handy when you’re walking through your space or between meetings:
“Book the meeting room for me tomorrow from 10 to 12.”
“Which offices are free this afternoon”
“Is the large meeting room free right now?”
What You Can Ask Your AI Assistant
Your assistant can help with bookings, members, invoices and reports. It can also turn your data into charts and suggest improvements.
Bookings and availability
“Which desks are free this afternoon?”
“Book the small meeting room for Jane Miller tomorrow 10–12.”
“Move today’s 2pm boardroom booking to 3pm.”
“Any non-members coming in today?”
Members and check-ins
“Check out all members who are still checked in.”
“Which resources are allocated long-term, and to whom?”
“List the members of Team Acme.”
Reports, charts and insights
“Give me a pie chart of this month’s revenue from all my spaces.”
“Show this year’s revenue per month as a bar chart.”
“Which invoices are overdue?”
“Looking at last month’s bookings, what would you change?”
“What stands out in this chart?”
ℹ️ Note: Your AI assistant creates charts and suggestions from your Cobot data. Results depend on the assistant you use.
💡 Pro Tip: Be specific. Include your space name, a date and a time range. If you manage several spaces, your assistant can see all of them.
Security and Data Access
Login uses OAuth 2.0 with PKCE, the same method as the Cobot API. Your assistant never sees your password or an API key.
Access is limited to bookings, resources, memberships and invoices, and only for the spaces you manage.
Personal data is pseudonymized by default. You choose whether to keep this setting when you connect.
You can revoke an assistant’s access at any time under authorized applications.
⚠️ Important: Treat your assistant chats like any admin session that contains personal information, and apply the same data protection and confidentiality standards.
Next Steps
We’re adding more tools over time. If you have feedback or an idea for something you’d like your assistant to handle, [let us know via chat / support link].
