Learn how to set open hours for your space and how to block your booking calendar on holidays and space closures.

Block your calendar for upcoming public holidays, renovations or closed days for your members, external visitors and drop-ins - and make sure nobody is left standing in front of a closed door by displaying your open hours.


Setting up Open Hours

Open hours provide useful information to your members and visitors about when the space is open. These can be set under Setup » Open Hours.

Members see your open hours in their member portal under Space Information.


Setting up Calendar Blockers

Calendar blockers allow admins to prevent reservations for resource bookings, External Bookings, and Drop-in Passes. You can create, edit, and delete these under Calendar » Calendar Blockers.

Existing calendar blockers can be edited and deleted from this page, by clicking the drop-down arrow.

For the regional holiday are the following information shown. the days for the block, which resources are blocked and for what they are blocked. On the bottom right corner is the option to edit or to delete the blocker (highlighted in red).

When creating calendar blockers, admins can define the Title and Duration of the calendar blocker. Admins can select individual resources they want to be blocked, or all of them ("all" is the default).

Admins can also select which reservations they would like blocked from the booking calendar.

  • Example: it could be only applied for External Bookings and Drop-in Passes if a member has a key they can enter anytime the space.

💡 Admins can still always make bookings, even if a calendar blocker is set. Admin bookings overwrite the calendar blockers.

Displaying Open Hours and Closed Times for your Members

Once you have set up calendar blockers, for example for upcoming holidays or renovations, members can find these in their member portal under Upcoming Closed Times.
