Managing Purchases with Cobot's Tip Jar Add-On

Cobot's Tip Jar Add-On allows your members to easily add charges to their invoices. No need for handling cash or writing down purchases.

Our Tip Jar add-on allows members your to easily and digitally record small charges for products or services (like a soda from the fridge). These amounts are automatically added to the member’s monthly Cobot invoice, making it a simple and transparent solution to track and charge for various items.

Every member can see what they’ve purchased, and the costs are clear and straightforward.


How to Install the Add-on:

  1. Log in to your Cobot account as an admin.

  2. Navigate to the Add-Ons > Tip Jar > Install Add-On.

  3. Done!

Once the add-on is installed and configured, all members will be able to see and Tip Jar in their Member Portal on the left side.

PRO TIP

You can change the name of the Add-On in order to make sure your members know exactly what the Add-On is for (e.g. "Add your drinks from the Fridge here")


How Members Use the Tip Jar

After installation, members can use the Tip Jar to record their own purchases or charges. Here’s a step-by-step guide for members:

Log in to the Cobot Member Portal

  1. Log in to your Cobot profile.

  2. Navigate to the Tip Jar section in the bottom left corner of your Member Portal.

  3. Add a description (e.g. Soda) and the respective price (e.g. 2€)

  4. Done! The charge will be added to and paid with your next Cobot invoice. Easy!
