As a coworking space operator in Canada, offering services in both English and French isn’t just a nice-to-have—it’s often essential. Canada is proudly bilingual, especially in big cities like Montreal, Ottawa, and Toronto, where a large part of the population communicates fluently in both languages.
With Cobot, you can easily support this by offering a bilingual interface for both members and admins, ensuring a smooth, accessible experience for everyone who walks through your doors.
How Cobot Supports Bilingual Coworking Spaces
Dual-language Interface
Cobot provides a fully translated interface in both English and French. Members and admins can select their preferred language, and the platform will remember their choice for a seamless experience.
Language Selection for Admins
You and every other admin in your space can each choose your preferred language by logging in to your Cobot account » Clicking onto the little circle in the bottom left corner » Language.
💡 You can change your language at any time, and Cobot will remember your selection the next time you log in.
Language Selection for Members
Members can choose their preferred language, too! All they have to do is to log in to their Cobot Member Portal and navigate to the bottom left corner to change the language!
Customizable Content
In addition to the platform interface, Cobot allows you to customize emails, Help Desk issues, guides, and other content—so you can offer fully bilingual communication to your members.
Bilingual Onboarding Emails
Under Customize » E-mails, you’ll find a variety of email templates that can be personalized with your own content.
If your space operates in a bilingual part of Canada (or any other part of the world), you can include messages in both languages (e.g. French and English) within the same email to ensure accessibility for all members.
💡You can also use clear formatting, like headers or language flags indicators, (e.g. 🇫🇷 French, 🇬🇧 English) to separate the two versions for easier reading and help members and visitors quickly identify their preferred language at a glance.
Creating a Bilingual Help Desk
Not only can you customize all of your email templates, but you can also add bilingual instructions everywhere else!
Adding Bilingual Guides
Under Manage » Help Desk, you can add bilingual guides to support both English and French-speaking members right inside Cobot.
Managing Help Desk Issues in Different Languages
Getting Help Desk issues or requests in a language you don’t speak? No problem! You can assign them to specific admins to make sure each request is handled by someone fluent in that language.
