Connecting Cobot to PaperCut MF

Connect Cobot to PaperCut MF using the connectivity tool Cilantro to optimize, track and charge for printing in your space.

Cobot has partnered with Taco Technologies, so you can integrate Cobot with PaperCut MF using their in house connector Cilantro. PaperCut MF fits in with your existing print environment, supporting devices you already have, and is entirely vendor and platform agnostic.

Setting Up the Integration

Whether you have an existing PaperCut MF setup or would like to learn if this printing solution is right for your space, reach out to sales@taco-tech.com with the following details and they’ll put you in touch with your local reseller who will implement and support the integration:

Charging Your Members

Your first steps are to set up your pricing in PaperCut KB:

  • Prices per page are set in PaperCut, please see PaperCut KB guide here for more details.

  • Different pricing can be setup by groups using percentage discounts, or custom scripting, please see the PaperCut KB guide here for more details.

  • Quotas can be implemented for members or groups on a Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Custom period. Please see the PaperCut KB guide here for more details :

Once you are set up, all charges will be sent to your member's profile in Cobot and added to their next monthly invoice automatically. The combined charges will appear within a single line item on their invoice.

  • Charges should be displayed with the date of printing.

To charge your member for their printing service in advance of their monthly billing cycle, you can do so by going to the member's profile » Invoicing » Invoice Current Charges. Check out this guide for more information.
