Cobot offers multiple ways to manually and automatically check members into your space. Learn about each option to find the best fit for your space's workflow.
Viewing and Checking In Members Manually
You can view and check in members directly from your admin dashboard under Manage » Members » Members Checked In.
This dashboard is currently active for members on plans that include Time Passes.
If you’d like to enable it for all members, regardless of whether they have passes, please reach out to our support team, and we can turn it on for your space.
The Members Checked In dashboard displays:
All active members currently checked in to your space
Whether they belong to a team
Their current plan
Any available time passes
The date and time of their last check-in
When their check-in is set to end
A link to their full check-in history
A Check In button for manual entries
When a member is actively checked in, a green circle appears next to their name.
Members Manually Checking Themselves In
Members with a plan that includes Time Passes can check themselves in directly from their Member Portal.
They’ll see a Check In button on their dashboard, which deducts a pass when used.
If you’d like all members (including those without time passes) to have access to this button, contact our support team and we’ll enable it for your space.
Automated Check in With Wi-Fi Integration
If your space uses Cobot’s Wi-Fi integration, members are automatically checked in when they connect to your network.
Time Pass users: A pass will be automatically deducted, and access will last for the duration of that pass.
All other members: They’ll be checked in automatically without time limits.
Automated Check in With Door Access Integrations
Cobot integrates with multiple door access systems. Once connected, members are automatically checked in whenever they unlock a door in your space.
Editing or Removing Check-ins
You can manage or adjust member check-ins from two places:
From the Members Checked In dashboard under Manage » Members » Members Checked In. Click 'Past Check-ins' next to a member’s name to open their check-in history.
Or, go directly to the member’s profile under Manage » Members » Click on Member's Name » Time Passes » Past Check-ins.
In both locations, you’ll find a calendar view where you can add, edit, or remove past and future check-ins as needed.
PRO-TIP
Click the + button to add an additional check-in for a member on the same day. This is helpful if you’d like to record a guest visit and apply the corresponding charge.
